How Does Face Recognition Search Work?

Our reverse face search uses artificial intelligence and biometrics to map the unique geometry of a face, convert it into a digital signature, and match it against a huge database.

The process of our AI facial recognition search typically breaks down into five steps:

1. Face Detection:

In the very first phase our system scans your image to locate a human face, isolating it from the background.

• Facial Features Analysis & Extraction:

Our face identifier measures distinct facial features often called “nodal points” (e.g., the distance between the eyes, depth of eye sockets, width of the nose, and shape of the jawline).

• Encoding:

In this phase of our face search, these unique measurements are mathematically converted into a compact numerical representation, often called a face template or biometric signature.

• Comparison:

Then our  system compares this new digital signature against billions of published images  online .

• Matching:

In this last phase of our facial recognition it calculates a similarity score and returns either a confirmed match or not . Then the possible maximum results are shown before your on the screen
